Photographs of Sylvia:

Although there is not very much documentation of Sylvia in the midst of life outside of that which she recorded in pen and paper, photographs of Sylvia provide a glimpse at the face of the woman behind the craft, and the environment that so often served as her inspiration.

Many pictures show Sylvia at the beach, imagery of which appears in her poetry. Among the pictures are those of her time spent in England and America, her in what appears to be the process of writing, her with her children, namely her daughter Freida, who was born first, and her beside Ted.
